Amanda Burns

Executive Director

Amanda is a native Lakelander who brings a wealth of experience to Lake Gibson Village as the executive director. She has spent over 17 years working in senior living communities in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living in Polk County and throughout Florida. Amanda, who is a licensed Assisted Living Administator in the state, has spent the last seven years in the roles of Administrator and Executive Director. Prior to that, she began her journey in senior living in Human Resource Management. Amanda spent 10 years as the Regional Human Resources Director for 19 communities, playing a very important role in shaping, changing and reinforcing the company culture for the benefit of both residents and employees. Amanda’s passion and goal for seniors at Lake Gibson Village is to ensure that residents are met with integrity, care, and happiness. She has two children in college, enjoys traveling all around the world, and loves spending time outdoors enjoying nature.
